Switzerland-EU in figures

The EU and Switzerland have strong economic ties. Switzerland's most important trading partners are EU member states, in particular the neighbouring countries. For the EU as well, Switzerland is a major trading partner and ranked fourth in 2024 after the United States, China and the United Kingdom.

More than half of Swiss foreign trade is conducted with the European Union. 51% of Switzerland’s exports go to the EU and 70% of its imports come from the EU. — © STS-FDFA
